Course descripton

The retrospective is a fundamental but unfortunately often neglected part of Agile culture of learning and continuous improvement. This 4-hours Retrospective workshop is designed for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Agile retrospectives and the dynamics behind the retrospective meeting. This course is not simply theories and concepts, it is filled with practical tips, techniques and exercises, and discussions. The participants will learn and practice facilitation techniques, Scrum and Kanban practices, together with real life examples. We will uncover the way how to make every retrospective a safe, engaging, fun and purposeful meeting.

The training is based on the work of Esther Derby and Diana Larsen and their award winning book "Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great".

Note that the course participants are expected to be familiar with the basic concepts of Agile and Lean. Therefore it's recommended to attend at least one of following trainings/workshops prior attending this course: Agile and Lean workshop for managers, Introduction to Agile and Lean, Scrum Master Foundations, Scrum Product Owner Foundations, or Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP).
