Course descripton

One-day Scrum Product Owner course is a workshop at an intermediate level, designed for currently practicing Product Owners, Scrum Masters who support a Product Owner, Agile Business Owners, and others who want an in-depth understanding of the role of the Product Owner in different contexts and scenarios. The training will equip you with different techniques for successful product ownership. You will understand how to leverage Scrum to optimize value creation and customer satisfaction. You will be able stock the product backlog, write and map user stories and refine the requirements.
We will also review a lightweight process for planning in Scrum, starting from the backlog creation and finishing with tracking, reporting and feedback. You will learn an easily repeatable framework for creating realistic release plans, release tracking, delivering the value to customer and preventing the teams from becoming a black box.

This course is based on Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner training guidelines.

Recommended follow-up courses: Successful Agile Retrospectives, Kanban System Design (KMP I), Kanban Management Professional (KMP II), Scrum Master Foundations, Project Estimation and Monte Carlo Forecasting, and Agile Metrics and Monte Carlo Forecasting.

Note that the course participants are expected to be familiar with the basic concepts of Agile and Lean. Therefore it's recommended (but not required) to attend at least one of following trainings/workshops prior attending this course: Agile and Lean workshop for managers, Introduction to Agile and Lean, or Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP).
