The Kanban Method provides pragmatic, actionable, evidence-based guidance for successful evolutionary change. The application of the Kanban Method is not restricted to software development, but for any kind of knowledge creation work as an alternative path to agility or as the next development step for mature agile teams. It starts with what you do now and pursues evolutionary change while respecting current roles, responsibilities and job titles, and encouraging leadership at all levels. This allows organizations to evolve business processes gradually, define and use relevant metrics to measure progress, and significantly reduce the risks associated with complex change programs.
Kanban Management Professional (KMP II) is a two-day course accredited by the Lean Kanban University (LKU). It systematically builds upon the foundations established in Kanban System Design (KMP I) training and your existing Kanban knowledge with the focus of gaining the understanding necessary for rollout and daily operation of a Lean Kanban system and learning how to manage and evolve it over time. By focusing on the complex demands of a multi-teamed organization, we explore how to keep momentum beyond initial improvements realized from a successful Kanban implementation. We study how better products and services lead to higher customer satisfaction and business performance through sound management and understanding of the seven Kanban cadences, flow optimization, forecasting, prioritization, balancing demand versus capability and scaling.
